Laura Shepherd

Laura leads project management and research, keeping teams on task. She also tracks media and creates media briefings. Before taking on consulting engagements for Strait Insights and other firms, she worked with C-suite executives and the board of directors at Bank of America, staging and managing corporate events from New York City to Davos.

She is also a skilled researcher with a passion for learning. While working at Dun & Bradstreet Retirement Services, Laura earned her Pension Actuary certification. While at Evergreen Investments, she attained her Series 6 license. During her time at Bank of America, she received her Protocol Officer designation and was trained in International Etiquette.

Laura founded and continues to serve on the board of Bridge to Faith, nonprofit developed to support Harvest Ministries in India. She recently expanded her skill set to become a registered yoga instructor, serving people with traumatic brain injury, and a certified Open Water Scuba Diver.

Laura lives in Charlotte, NC, where she is trying to figure out what new skill to learn next.
